Inuyasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time

Tanto tempo fa il padre di Inuyasha e le sue truppe sconfissero l'esercito demoniaco "Gem" venuto dal continente e guidato dal Grande Demone Hyoga. Dopo essere stato reso inoffensivo, Hyoga fu sigillato presso un albero secolare nel Bosco del Non-Ritorno. Duecento anni dopo, Menomaru, figlio del demone sconfitto, è tornato in Giappone per ereditare i poteri del padre e per vendicarsi della famiglia di Inuyasha. Per fare questo gli occorre Tessaiga, l'unica arma capace di spezzare il sigillo di Hyoga.

L'un des morceaux de la Shikon No Tama a donné naissance à un démon : Menomaru. Celui-ci veut absorber les puissants pouvoirs de son père qui fut scellé 200 ans plus tôt par le père d'Inuyasha.Commence alors un combat acharné entre ce démon assoiffé de pouvoir et la "bande" d'Inuyasha, durant lequel les sentiments de ce dernier et de Kagome sont mis au défi. L'intérêt de ce premier film réside principalement dans les sentiments qu'éprouvent Inuyasha et Kagome. Le combat avec le démon reste, de mon point de vue, secondaire/de cadre à l'histoire. Le film est cependant très réussi et il y a de magnifiques scènes entre les deux héros.

Inuyasha, un semidemonio, y Kagome, una joven que ha viajado 500 años al pasado hasta el Japón feudal, unen fuerzas para reunir los fragmentos dispersos de la Joya de los Cuatro Espíritus. En su camino, deberán enfrentarse al demonio chino Menomaru, quien ha despertado de su largo letargo tras entrar en contacto con una astilla de la poderosa joya.

Inuyasha's father defeated a powerful Chinese yōkai moth named Hyōga, five hundred years ago. The Shikon Jewel shard revives his son, Menōmaru, and his loyal servants, Ruri and Hari (who plan to avenge their family). When Miroku and Sango meet the duo, Ruri copies the wind tunnel and Hari possesses Kirara. Menōmaru kidnaps and places a spell on Kagome. He breaks the seal to release the power of his predecessor. Though becoming stronger, he achieves the title of the clan. While staying at the fortress, Menōmaru uses the spell to possess Kagome. Inuyasha attempts to evade Kagome, when he discovers that she is wearing Kikyō's clothes. Kagome inadvertently kills Inuyasha, pinning him with an arrow on "The Sacred Tree" (like Kikyō did to him fifty years ago). After Kagome resists the spell, she apologizes to Inuyasha. When Kikyō tells Kagome that she does not belong in the feudal era, she sends her to the "Bone-Eater's Well". A grief-stricken Kagome ends up returning in the present day and wanders though Tokyo. After sensing that Inuyasha is alive, Kagome shoots the arrow into the well, causing it to explode. She travels back in time and reconciles with him. As Kirara resists the spell, Miroku and Sango defeat the duo. When Menōmaru emerges from the moth cocoon and reveals his giant body, Inuyasha defeats Menōmaru with Kagome's help. With everything returned to normal, Inuyasha and Kagome spend time in Tokyo.
