Jazz musician Y. is fighting for his survival, alongside his wife Yasmin, a dancer and hip-hop instructor, they live with their young son Noah in a modest apartment in Tel Aviv. Selling their art, their souls, and their bodies to the country's elite, bringing "comfort" to the nation following the October 7 attacks. In doing so, they take any gig to make ends meet. They simply can't say no. Soon, Y. dyes his hair blond and is given a mission of utmost importance: composing a new national anthem with bellicose lyrics. He is paid by a Russian oligarch who expects praise for the IDF and the atrocities committed in Gaza over the past 18 months. Bonding with his ex-girlfriend Leah, who works for the IDF, Y. embarks on a trip to the Gaza border.
