Le 4 mai 1897, à 16h20, le Bazar de la Charité à Paris prend feu : 126 victimes, en grande majorité des femmes, toutes réunies pour la cause des plus démunis dans cette oeuvre de bienfaisance, sont à déplorer. Grâce aux éclairages d'experts, ce document raconté par la comédienne Audrey Fleurot retrace l'histoire de la plus grande manifestation caritative annuelle parisienne, qui est devenue un lieu d'enfer pour ses participants.
