Pur di lasciare il collegio a cui proprio non riesce ad adattarsi, una studentessa fa credere al direttore di essere in attesa di un figlio e che il padre del nascituro è un professore del collegio stesso. Per evitare lo scandalo, la ragazza viene rispedita a casa, accompagnata proprio dal presunto seduttore. Più tardi emerge la verità e, naturalmente, anche l'amore fra i due che prelude ai fiori d'arancio.
