몽유도원도'는 화가 안견이 1447년(세종29년) 그린 산수화로 안견의 독실한 후원자였던 안평대군이 꿈속에서 도원을 방문하고 그 내용을 안견에게 설명해 그리게 한 작품이다. 조선 초기 문화예술의 성과가 집대성된 기념비적 작품으로 안평대군이 쓴 발문과 시 등 23편의 찬문이 곁들여져 있어 서예사적 가치도 뛰어나다.
