Der schüchterne Raghu More kommt aus einer Mittelklasse Familie aus Bombay. Er ist glücklich, auf einem College für sehr begabte junge Menschen angenommen worden zu sein und findet direkt zwei neue Freunde: Pannalal Patel und Balkrishna Mani, die aber Probleme mit ihrer Herkunftssprache haben und daher von den anderen Schülern nicht akzeptiert werden. Zudem verliebt er sich am ersten Tag auch noch in die schlaue und wunderschöne Ramona. Da sie aber unerreichbar scheint, verkleidet er sich als Frau, um sich ihr zu nähern. Doch Ramona treibt ein falsches Spiel mit Raghu, er weiß nicht, dass er Teil einer Wette ist. Dann tritt Intel auf den Plan, ein Mädchen, das sich wie ein Junge kleidet und mit der Zeit Gefühle für Raghu entwickelt hat. Mit ihrer Hilfe überwindet er seine Probleme und schmiedet einen Racheplan für Ramona und ihre Freunde, der sich gewaschen hat: Auf dem nächsten Tanzwettbewerb will er allen zeigen, was er kann, und so Ramonas Herz erobern...
Raghu More comes from a middle-class family in Bombay, India. He is successful in getting admitted in a decent college, where he gets to make new friends - Pannalal Patel, and Balkrishna Mani (alias Black Money). But the one he would really like to be introduced is the savvy and gorgeous and seemingly untouchable Ramona. He does get to meet and talk with her - once dressed as a transvestite; the second time foolishly proposing to marry her, only to find out that he was part of a bet; and third when he accepts the blame for one of her wrong actions. Ramona starts to notice him when he speaks for Sex Education during a college debate - which was unfortunately interrupted by his dad. Watch as comical events unfold as Raghu attempts to improve his image - from the "sidey, "geeky", and "vernac" to the more prestigious "Roger Moore", and discover new meanings of old college slang viz. "Gilhey Shikwe (Wet complaints).
