Eine Restaurantkette mit Filialen in Tokio und New York ist in Planung. Während er mit seinem Cabrio von Termin zu Termin hetzt, übersieht er die Radfahrerin Frieda die in den Graben rauscht. Die patente Bäuerin schäumt vor Wut – nicht nur, dass sie sich den Knöchel gebrochen hat und deshalb die viele Arbeit auf dem Hof liegen bleibt, sondern auch, weil der Fahrer einfach davonbraust.
