Bob Ryan is originally a cowboy, but is elected by the residents of the town of Rawhide as a law officer. Rawhide has a hard time with a trio of brothers (Victor, Louie and Frank Todd) who are not that strict with the law. The three mainly target the cattle of the ranchers and do not shy away from a murder or less. Ryan gets help from his friend "Pinky" Pratt to restore calm to the town.
