Raj (Sanjay Kapoor) ist einer der beliebtesten Schauspieler Indiens, doch bedrückt ihn die Ehe mit Kollegin Madhu (Aditi Govitrikar). Die macht ihm wiederholt heftige Szenen, weil sie ihn des Seitensprungs mit seiner Regisseurin Preeti (Raveena Tandon) verdächtigt. Als Madhu eines Tages erschossen auf der Terrasse liegt, fällt der Verdacht auf Raj. Zwar gibt Preeti Raj ein Alibi, doch taucht der wahre Mörder auf und versucht Raj zu erpressen. Weil er ihm ein Leben mit Preeti ermöglichte, so die Logik des Täters, soll Raj jetzt einen Mord für ihn begehen.
