Violoniste mais aussi trafiquant de bijoux, Vincent Cabral découvre, à l’occasion d’un raid meurtrier mené par un groupuscule d’extrême-gauche, que son jeune frère, Virgile, en est le chef. Afin de l’aider à échapper à la police, Vincent se lande à la recherche de son cadet et s’immisce malgré lui dans l’engrenage tragique des attentats perpétrés par les révolutionnaires.
