En España, el 11 de mayo de 1896, en el circo Price, se proyectan las primeras imágenes en movimiento jamás mostradas en el país. A partir de ese evento, el actor español Antonio Resines se propone compilar una serie de anécdotas para dar forma a la asombrosa historia del cine español, manteniendo varias conversaciones con destacadas figuras de la industria cinematográfica española.
