Gold Man from Rio or Gentle road of Lukas Krpalek is feature documentary about liferoad of Czech judoka, who won World Championship and European Champion in 2014 and became Olympic Champion in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. This movie is beyond the frame of sport documentary thanks to the scenes from his private life and recordings of his wife. Story of ordinary man from Jihlava, who got by mistake into the sport, which was not originally his intention. The movie shows strong will and immense endurance of athlete, who despite adversity managed to break through the proverbial vicious circle of last missing titles winning the Olympic gold.
