Lee Sun-jae

Lee Soon-jae (1934–2025) was one of South Korea’s most celebrated actors, with a career spanning nearly 70 years across theater, film, and television. Known for his versatility—from serious stage roles to mainstream hits like Unstoppable High Kick!—he became a cultural icon and mentor to generations of performers. His later work included the 2024 drama Dog Knows Everything, for which he won the Grand Prize at the KBS Drama Awards, underscoring his enduring relevance even in his final years. Honored with multiple national cultural merit awards, he remained active until his passing at age 91, leaving behind a legacy as a cornerstone of Korean performing arts
