Aoki Yasunao (青木康直) is an animator and now anime director. After graduating from Futamata High School, Aoki joined Telecom Animation Film where he worked as animation on popular TV series such as Lupin III, Chie the Brat, Takarajima and Tetsujin 28-go. Afterwards he left Telecom and joined Deen where he became director and was put in charge of episodes on series like Urusei Yatsura, Vifam and Patlabor. In 1990 he left Deen to become a freelance director. In the aftertime he worked often on Su
