Brasil Paralelo

Brasil Paralelo Entretenimento e Educação S/A, better known by its trade name Brasil Paralelo, is a Brazilian company founded in August 2016 in Porto Alegre. It produces videos and documentaries about politics and history, drawing on and utilizing a far-right and conservative bias. It emerged amid the conservative wave in Brazil in the 2010s. The production company positions itself as a "connection with a parallel reality" and aims to produce content that diverges from the prevailing views among Brazilian intellectuals and journalists. According to the production company, these views are largely influenced by the left. Its productions feature content that defends values of the political right, Christianity, and conspiracy theories. Journalists and historians have defined the company as close to the Bolsonaro government, and its productions have been classified as having a political bias linked to the conservative far-right, as well as aligned with the ideas of Brazilian figures from that spectrum, such as Olavo de Carvalho, Jair Bolsonaro, and Ernesto Araújo.
