Rainer Maria Jilg (sometimes: Rainer Jilg) is a German television presenter. He studied at the FH in Offenburg (Germany) and Perth (Australia) and did first TV presentations on MTV and Viva. 2012 was shown the 3-part TV series "Die Nonne und Herr Jilg", where he, together with a nun, did a car trip from Istanbul to Jerusalem. In August 2014 Jilg was the presenter of the casting show „Rising Star“ on RTL. Since 2016 he is co-presenter of the magazine "Planet Wissen" for the BR/ARD.
