Mel, una joven de 16 años a la que un accidente deja huérfana de madre. Completamente sola, la joven tiene que dejar sus estudios para buscar trabajo, aprender a valerse por sí misma y cuidar de su hermana pequeña. Su amiga África le acerca a la moda, un mundo que ella rechaza pero que le reporta un valioso dinero. Allí conoce a Bruno, un atractivo fotógrafo que le dobla en edad, separado y con una hija de la misma edad que Mel. Entre ellos surge una gran atracción y un amor cuya barrera más complicada es la diferencia de edad. Sus vidas cambian cuando ambos se ven obligados a separarse. Entonces, Mel cae en una espiral autodestructiva.

It is the story of Mel (Esmeralda Moyá), a 16-year-old girl whose mother is orphaned by an accident. All alone, the young woman has to leave her studies to look for work, learn to fend for herself and take care of her little sister. Her friend Africa (Ana Rujas) brings her closer to fashion, a world that she rejects but that brings her valuable money. There she meets Bruno (Jesús Olmedo), an attractive photographer twice her age, separated and with a daughter the same age as Mel. Between them arises a great attraction and a love whose most complicated barrier is the age difference. Their lives change when both are forced to separate. Then, Mel falls into a self-destructive spiral. The romantic relationship takes place against the backdrop of a modeling agency delving into the ins and outs of the fashion world.
