Před dávnými lety chodil po světě medvedář a jmenoval se Kuba Kubikula. Doprovázel ho medvěd Kubula. Byl to velký neposeda a velký mlsoun. Kuba si s ním už nevěděl rady a tak na jeho nezbednosti vymyslel medvědí strašidlo Barbuchu. A tím to vše začalo.
