Dopo le avventure di Cascina Vianello, Raimondo e Sandra decidono di rimanere a vivere in campagna insieme all'immancabile Tata. La tranquillità della cascina viene però continuamente sconvolta da strani delitti, rapine e misteriosi avvenimenti. Spinti dalla curiosità, i coniugi Vianello si improvvisano detective e finiscono per collaborare, a modo loro, alle indagini del maresciallo locale, dando vita a situazioni investigative sempre accompagnate dalla loro caratteristica comicità.
