羽田美智子が主演を務め、小松江里子が脚本を手掛けるホームドラマ。巨大隕石が接近し、地球が滅亡するまであと半年に迫った日本を舞台に、門倉久美子(羽田)が高校時代の憧れの彼ともう一度恋がしたいと、家族に主婦の卒業宣言をする。そんな久美子の行動が門倉家に嵐を巻き起こすさまを描く。

In the year 20XX, a gigantic meteorite is on a path to destroy the planet within 6 months. Japan struggles to maintain order with its impending doom. The Kadokura family lives in Setagaya, Tokyo. Kumiko Kadokura (Michiko Hada) is an ordinary wife, but she suddenly informs her family that she loves someone else and wants to spend her final moments with him. She then leaves their family home. Her family, including her husband Kazuhiko (Hiroyuki Amano), are confused by her action. The rest of the family have their own secrets.
