主君の仇討ちを果たすも同時に職を失い妻にも死なれた浪人、かつては凄腕の忍者だった薬売り、戦国時代高名な武将だった男。三人の老人が出会い・別れを繰り返しながらも旅先で起こった悪事を老人力で解決していく。 最終話にて三四郎と玄夢の意外な正体が明らかにされる。
