Dick and Harry Fall Down a Hole

Auf der Suche nach einer Tankstelle irren Dick und Harry durch einen Wald und übersehen dabei ein tiefes Loch. Nun sitzen sie fest. In dieser hilflosen Situation gerät Dick an seine Grenzen und bekommt hysterische Anfälle, während Harry versucht, ihn in seine Gelassenheits-Philosophie einzuweihen. Außerhalb des Lochs sind die Rettungsarbeiten in vollem Gange. Tommy macht mit den Schaulustigen Geschäfte, und Sally legt sich mit dem Leiter der Rettungsaktion an, bis es knistert.

Dick and Harry tumble down an abandoned airshaft, prompting a televised search-and-rescue headed by an eccentric Scottish expert known as "the Hole," who promptly clashes with an agitated Sally over his unorthodox rescue method. Meanwhile, down in their dark prison, an excitable Dick finally loses control while Zen-like Harry remains cool and calm. Above ground, Tommy tries to make a fast buck by hawking souvenirs of his trapped friends.
