A magnificent tower opens its gates for us to explore. Its owner, Laertis Kallergis, is a real curmudgeon. Ever since his wife left him and took their child, he has shut himself away in his tower, taking out his bad temper and eccentricities on the household staff. His mother, Persa, is a law unto herself. She lost touch with reality after falling out of an apple tree and has since taken to playing various roles, depending on her mood. And believe us, she has quite a repertoire! Though the situation is often hilarious, Laertis realizes that someone must urgently be found to care for his mother. Enter Christina Foteinou, who knocks on the door of the dark tower. She arrives with her son, determined to stay and make things work. But plenty of obstacles await her: Laertis himself, a woman vying for his affection, and his ex-wife, who suddenly reappears. As you can imagine, reaching a happy ending will be a turbulent journey full of twists and turns!
