该剧讲述医学世家之女唐杞子(陈怡馨饰)在偶然间救下了被困画中的唐朝神医唐勤简(朱旻昕饰)，因从小佩戴的祖传手镯与其玉佩连接，俩人被困在了一丈之内。唐杞子和唐勤简就此被迫开启了亲密的同居生活。在努力适应现代生活的过程中，唐勤简也身体力行地教会了唐杞子如何成为一名优秀的中医。在这个过程中，二人之间萌生出一段不可思议的爱情。
