一九七九年・六月。亡き妻・節子の田舎である鵜頭川村へ、三年ぶりに墓参りにやってきた岩森明と娘の愛子。突如、山間の村は豪雨に見舞われ、一人の若者の死体が発見される。村の有力者・矢萩吉朗の息子で問題児の大助が犯人だと若者たちは息巻くが、矢萩家に誰も反抗できず、事件はうやむやとなる。抱えていた家同士の対立が顕在化し出し、若者たちは自警団を結成する。 動き始めた狂気がさらなる狂気を生み、村は騒乱に巻き込まれていく―父と幼い娘は閉ざされた村での暴動と狂乱から逃れられるのか。狂気が狂気を呼ぶ、パニックサスペンス!
