Matt und Eric besprechen mit Rabbi Glass die Hochzeitspläne. Dabei erfährt Eric, dass er bei der Trauung eine kleinere Rolle spielen soll, als er erwartet hatte. Matt und Sarah sehen der Feier relativ gelassen entgegen, dafür bekommen jetzt der Rabbi und Eric kalte Füße, vor allem, was Matts Konvertierung angeht. Kurzerhand sagen die Väter die Hochzeit ab. Auch die anderen haben ihre Probleme mit der bevorstehenden Trauung. Annie bereitet das Probe-Dinner zu, hat aber weder koscheres Essen vorbereitet, noch mit so vielen Besuchern gerechnet. Großvater Charles geht am Flughafen verloren. Während Lucy am Flughafen wartet, lernt sie einen charmanten Jungen kennen. Simon erlebt eine herbe Enttäuschung: Er hat fest damit gerechnet, Matts Trauzeuge zu sein, doch stattdessen bittet Matt Robbie darum. Mary erhält selbst einen Heiratsantrag, überrascht Ben jedoch mit einer unerwarteten Antwort.

Matt and Eric meet with Rabbi Glass to discuss wedding plans, and Eric learns that he is playing a small roll than he had originaly planned. Matt and Sarah are prepared to have their wedding, but Rabbi Glass and Eric can't seem to agree on their children marrying out of faith and Matt converting to Judaism, and call the wedding off. Annie prepared for much less visitors to attend the rehearsal dinner and gets very flustured over the fact she does not have kosher food, and that she doesn't have enough food in the first place. Julie and Hank call to tell Annie that Julie is going into labor. Ginger and Charles are prepared to fly to Glen Oak, but Charles get's lost at the airport. Simon is convinced that Matt will ask him to be best man, and when he asks Robbie, Simon gets angered. Meanwhile, Ruthie tells Robbie that she wants his room for herself after Matt moves out.
