Two Weddings, an Engagement, and a Funeral

Chandler soll seine erste Trauung durchführen, doch dem Brautpaar Gladys und Fred stellt sich Freds Mutter Gertrude in den Weg. Sie ist davon überzeugt, dass Gladys es nur auf Freds Geld abgesehen hat. Chandler, der Eric nicht um Hilfe bitten will, muss mit Engelszungen auf Gertrude einreden, um eine für alle Beteiligten akzeptable Lösung zu finden. Die zweite Trauung, die Chandler durchführen soll, ist nicht weniger kompliziert: Braut und Bräutigam hatten erst eine Verabredung und sind zudem behindert. Die Eltern des Bräutigams sind deshalb strikt gegen diese Verbindung. Wird Chandler Herr der Lage?

Annie's half-sister Lilly (guest-star Michelle Phillips, "Knots Landing" and musical group "The Mamas and The Papas") is getting married and wants their ailing father to walk her down the isle but Annie worries that the strain might be too much for him. Meanwhile, Fred (guest-star Al Ruscio) and Mrs. Bink (guest star Eileen Brennan) attend premarital counseling with Chandler, but Fred's mother (guest-star Carol Arthur) tries to put a stop to the wedding because she thinks Mrs. Bink is a gold digger. Lastly, Jimmy (guest-star Glen Poehlman) and Pat (guest-star Pam Rawuka), two mentally challenged people, decide to get married after just one date and ask Chandler to perform the ceremony, but Jimmy's parents (guest-stars Dick Van Patten and Patricia Van Patten) try to put a stop to it.

Chandler hésite à marier Mme Bink avec son petit ami. Deux handicapés mentaux veulent se marier alors qu'ils se connaissent à peine. Lilly, la demi soeur d'Annie, se marie et voudrait que son père soit là malgré sa maladie.
