September 1944: After the surrender of the militiamen and the impossibility of transporting them to their trial to Besancon, Bériot decides to start a court martial in Villeneuve school. He asks Antoine and Suzanne accompany Anselme as judges, while Edmond is appointed Daniel Larcher prosecutor and defense lawyer. As the trial agrees on what will happen to each militiaman Bériot receives the order from his superior to fake trial.
