When Walter, her son-in-law, is offered a job in another town, Grace faces the prospect of moving and leaving her beau, Herbert, and her other friends behind in “The Working Girl”. Determined to stay in the area where she has lived all of her life, Grace sets out to prove that she can support herself and gets a job as a ladies room attendant.
