Eigentlich wollte der seit fünf Jahren arbeitslose Walter Schumann nur helfen, als sich vor ihm auf der Autobahn ein Wagen überschlägt. Stattdessen richtet der schwer verletzte Fahrer Grischek eine Waffe auf Schumann, und zwingt ihn zur gemeinsamen Flucht. Als Grischek im Haus von Schumann stirbt, wittert der seine große Chance: Grischek hat einen Koffer voller Geld bei sich. Schumann muss bloß die Leiche verschwinden lassen und seine Tochter Julia, die Zeuge des Geschehens ist, überzeugen, die Polizei aus dem Spiel zu halten. Tom und Semir entdecken kurz darauf im Kofferraum des Unfallwagens die Leiche von Grischeks Partner. Sie finden heraus, dass das Gaunerduo die Einnahmen eines Bordells gestohlen hat. Auch der Bordellbesitzer van Cleef und dessen rechte Hand Draschko suchen nach dem Unbekannten, der Grischek von der Unfallstelle mitgenommen haben muss. Wer findet Schumann zuerst?
Walter Schumann, who has been unemployed for five years, actually only wanted to help when a car overturned in front of him on the motorway. Instead, the badly injured driver Grischek pointed a gun at Schumann and forced him to flee with him. When Grischek dies in Schumann's house, Schumann senses his big chance: Grischek has a suitcase full of money with him. Schumann just has to make the body disappear and convince his daughter Julia, who witnessed the incident, to keep the police out of the picture. Tom and Semir soon discover the body of Grischek's partner in the trunk of the crashed car. They find out that the crook duo stole the proceeds from a brothel. The brothel owner van Cleef and his right-hand man Draschko are also looking for the unknown man who must have taken Grischek from the scene of the accident. Who finds Schumann first?
Unos delincuentes habituales roban a uno de los proxenetas más peligrosos de la ciudad.
Due criminali litigano per avidità in quanto nessuno vuole dividere con l'altro il denaro, frutto di una rapina. I due gangster si sparano anche a vicenda: uno muore e l'altro rimane a terra gravemente ferito. Quest'ultimo verrà soccorso da Schumann, un uomo di mezza età al quale è appena stato negato un posto di lavoro e che si trova quindi in condizioni precarie. Il soccorritore si offre di portarlo all'ospedale ma viene minacciato dal criminale con una pistola: gli viene ordinato di prestargli assistenza evitando luoghi dove avrebbe potuto essere riconosciuto. Ben presto però anche lui inizia a stare male e Schumann così tenta di impadronirsi della valigia in modo da risolvere un po' dei suoi problemi economici. Esso però non sa che dietro ai due criminali, oramai entrambi morti, c'era un'organizzazione molto potente, così viene ben presto braccato. Toccherà a Tom Kranich e Semir Gerkhan arrestare la banda e salvare la vita a Schumann.
