Françoise Sorel, qui vient de se suicider, souhaite être enterrée à Castelnac, son village natal en Périgord. Sa fille Lola découvre qu'elle ignore tout de ses parents et de leur passé. Elle passe quelques jours à Castelnac. Un homme, un ancien ami de son père, est assassiné et Lola devient la principale suspecte.
