  • S01E01 No Business Like Snow Business

    With the first snow of winter, the action is heating up in Whistler as a group of concierges brought together by business mogul Joey Gibbons meet for the first time to reimagine the typical luxury ski vacation. The team gets off to a rocky start as Elise’s city sensibilities clash with her colleagues' laid-back mountain attitudes. Their first clients are a trio of fun-loving best friends looking to do anything but ski. Bobby plays butler for the day at a hot spring spa experience while Jim cozies up with one lucky lady during dog sledding. Meanwhile, things quickly snowball for Elise, Kendra and Charlotte when their hungover client panics on a gondola during a surprise gourmet excursion.

    Following the dining disaster on the gondola, Elise and Tamara are left to figure out what went wrong and where to place the blame. Jim makes a surprising connection with this week’s new clients--six children--but his decisions on the mountain get him in trouble with Elise. Meanwhile, Kendra takes on a mountain top vow renewal where a wardrobe malfunction threatens to derail the entire ceremony. Finally, a concierge dinner turns tense as Bobby confronts Kendra about her behavior.

Elise gets back to her roots in the kitchen and adds fuel to a fiery group dinner that leaves the team divided.

    With tensions at an all-time high at Gibbons Life, the staff decides to boost morale with a group bobsledding experience that leaves one team member in the dust. Bobby and Charlotte cater to some high-maintenance vacationers while Kendra and Jim find a new respect for each other after showing their clients an unforgettable horseback riding experiences they won’t soon forget. Jim's frustration with Elise hits its peak, so he decides to raise his grievances all the way to the top. The staff tries to resolve their issues at a team dinner but it quickly goes downhill.

    Now that Jim is established as the official manager, he has only one week to show Joey and Tamara that he and his team deserve to come back for another season. Bobby is unhappy with the decision to promote Jim and sets up a meeting with Joey to get answers, but a hangover after an all-night birthday party threatens his credibility. Jim is faced with a difficult client who wants more than what he is willing to offer, causing Bobby and Charlotte to question his leadership skills after some questionable behavior. Meanwhile, Lynsey is fed up with her hard-partying clients from Texas and tries new and clever ways to keep them satisfied and away from the booze. With only one week left in the season, will the Gibbons Life team prove they have what it takes for another season at Whistler?
