オキナワの北部に住む中学生・東道明は、 姉の晴香、カフェを営む母親の3人で平穏な日常を送っていた。 だが、この家族にはある秘密があった。 晴香は父から"エンジン"と呼ばれる力を受け継いでおり、 他人にその力を隠して生活していたのだ。 一方、明は父の力を継いでおらず、自らの弱さにコンプレックスを抱いていた。 そんな中、世界中で異変が起きる。 明たちに迫る、正体不明の敵の目的とは――。 宇宙の命運を背負った少年少女の戦いが、いま始まる。
