Behind the scenes of Britain's newest bargain chain store, fashion retailer Pep&Co, following staff on both the shop floor and at head office as they take on and try to undercut the big names of the discount fashion world and become the cheapest on the high street. The first episode follows last summer's launch, when £20million was spent in a high-risk rollout of 50 shops across the country. In Corby, shop manager Sue attracts an unexpected visit from a rival, while at head office, a decision is made to ditch the homeware range in favour of a menswear line
