MeMo and BaBa measure things that are bigger and smaller. A ladybird is much smaller than MeMo and BaBa. At Play Time, they choose a magnifier and use it to look at the ladybird. The ladybird looks much bigger! They show the magnifier to the Yummies and use it to look at their snack. The tiny pea looks enormous. On the Lullaby Lake, they don’t need anything to make Elewhale look bigger.
MeMo has a lovely bag to carry things around. A Tweetie brings MeMo a felt star, so MeMo puts it in the bag. At Play Time, BaBa wants to keep a stacking ring - MeMo puts it in the bag as well. MeMo gives the star to the Play Tree to make room. At Yummy Time, they use the ring to replace the wheel on the cart. Crossing Lullaby Lake, MeMo’s bag is empty, but that’s okay because they have had a very full day.
MeMo and BaBa are singing a song. They hear the Tweeties singing and try to copy them. When the Tick Tock Clock chimes, they copy that noise too. As they make their way across Planet BeddyByes, they listen to the noises around them and collect sounds from their friends to create a wonderful friendship song.
MeMo and BaBa tidy up some colourful balls but can’t find the right home for a squishy ball. They bring the ball to the Play Tree and play with a shape sorter. The squishy ball gets stuck inside, and the shapes won’t fit. In Yummy Land, when there aren’t enough seats at the table, MeMo uses the squishy ball as a seat. At BeddyByes time, Gramma Leeba finds the perfect home for the squishy ball.
MeMo and BaBa are jumping in puddles and notice a rainbow in the sky. It’s beautiful and colourful, but where does it end? They head to the Play Tree to find the rainbow’s end and draw pictures of rainbows. BaBa thinks the rainbow ends with the Yummies, but MeMo thinks it ends with Elewhale. They embark on a journey to find more rainbows all over Planet BeddyByes.
MeMo loves dancing. BaBa wants to dance but finds it hard to follow MeMo’s steps. At the Play Tree, they choose a music speaker and do some more dancing. BaBa is still struggling to copy MeMo’s routine and decides to watch MeMo dance instead. At Yummy Time, the Yummies show BaBa that there are many different ways to dance. BaBa joins in, doing their own BaBa dance. BaBa loves dancing too.
MeMo and BaBa play tickle chase with a Tweetie feather. At Play Time, they choose to play with a feather duster, aka a tickle wand! MeMo chases BaBa with the wand. It is fun at first, but then BaBa wants to stop playing.
BaBa becomes friends with a Tweetie - a BaBa Tweetie. MeMo would like a Tweetie friend too, so at Play Time, MeMo befriends a new toy called MeMo Dog. MeMo loves playing with MeMo Dog, and BaBa enjoys playing with BaBa Tweetie. MeMo takes MeMo Dog to Yummy Time to show the Yummies. Yummy Dog loves MeMo Dog too and takes care of it for MeMo. MeMo lets MeMo Dog stay with Yummy Dog.
MeMo and BaBa are playing a copying game. BaBa likes copying MeMo, but at the Play Tree, MeMo wants to play a different game with some beepy horns. BaBa still wants to copy MeMo and is sad at Yummy Time when MeMo and the Yummies play something else. MeMo doesn’t want BaBa to be sad. With the help of the Yummies, MeMo finds a happy way to compromise.
MeMo and BaBa want to spin without stopping but get dizzy and fall over. At the Play Tree, they spin on a roundabout before playing with a spinning top, which spins for a long time until it wobbles and falls over. At Yummy Time, they eat from a spinning carousel that must stop so they can take their food. Gramma Leeba tells them that Planet BeddyByes is always spinning in space.
MeMo catches some colourful seed pods that fall from the Play Tree. At Play Time, MeMo throws a beach ball to BaBa and explains how to catch, but BaBa can’t do it. At Yummy Time, with eyes open and concentrating hard, BaBa eventually catches some seeds knocked over by MeMo. Fungi and Pungi play catch with the beach ball on the Lullaby Lake, and at Storytime, they catch a kiss blown by Gramma Leeba.
MeMo and BaBa are having a race, but BaBa always starts before Gramma Leeba says go, never waiting. At Play Time, BaBa knocks down MeMo’s brick tower before it has been built. MeMo and the Yummies encourage BaBa to wait for the snacks to be ready before trying to eat them. BaBa waits - and they're delicious! On the Lullaby Lake, BaBa has learned to wait and is rewarded with a beautiful performance.
MeMo and BaBa play I spy with my little eye with Gramma Leeba. At Play Time, they play with a finger kite which makes a flappy sound. When the kite is caught in the wind, it flies off. MeMo and BaBa play I hear with my little ear to track the flappy finger kite down, all the way to Yummy Land. The Yummies have cooked a pie, and MeMo and BaBa play I spy with my little nose to work out the flavour.
MeMo and BaBa enjoy going up and down on a seesaw. A Tweetie flies by doing an upside down barrel roll. They fly up to the Play Tree and go down to land. BaBa does an upside down roly-poly. At Yummy Time, the toast jumps up out of the toaster and falls down to the ground, landing upside down. MeMo and BaBa watch Fungi and Pungi do their upside-down somersaults on Lullaby Lake.
MeMo is drawing a picture of BaBa, but BaBa can’t sit still. MeMo paints a picture at the Play Tree, but the Tweeties accidentally step all over it. BaBa loves the messy painting, as do the Yummies. They add their own flourishes, and MeMo starts to see its beauty. Pungi, Fungi and Elewhale also add to the picture. MeMo thinks it is a beautiful painting made by all their friends.
MeMo and BaBa are stomping in a muddy puddle. At the Play Tree, MeMo wants to make a mud pie and chooses to play in a mud kitchen, so it provides a sandpit full of gloopy mud. MeMo shows BaBa how to bake the perfect mud pie. They bring them to the Yummies and use the mud to plant sunflower and pumpkin seeds. MeMo and BaBa clean up after having muddy fun, ready for BeddyByes.
MeMo and BaBa dress up as a happy clown, a superhero, a tiger and in silly glasses. At the Play Tree, BaBa and MeMo excitedly choose a pretty tutu to play with, but BaBa is sad when it doesn’t fit. It fits MeMo perfectly. When MeMo shrinks down for Yummy Time, MeMo feels sad that the tutu no longer fits and understands how BaBa must be feeling. MeMo finds a way for them to both play with the tutu.
BaBa shares some crayons with MeMo. Gramma Leeba praises this kindness. BaBa enjoys the praise and shares all the crayons until there are none left. At the Play Tree, BaBa shares all the felt flowers with the Tweeties, and at Yummy Time, BaBa shares a whole pie. There is none left, so the Yummies share some of their pie with BaBa - how kind!
MeMo’s den is not big enough for two. BaBa wishes they could both be in it, so at Play Time, MeMo shows BaBa how to build one out of cushions and blankets. They love their cosy den. At Yummy Time, it starts to rain, so MeMo and BaBa build a den for the Yummies that’s just right and keeps them sheltered. Elewhale blows out a stream of water and creates an Ele-den for Fungi and Pungi.
BaBa peers into a puddle and sees themself reflected back. MeMo explains that it’s BaBa’s reflection. At the Play Tree, they look in a toy mirror and pull funny faces - it also comes in handy at Yummy Time, when they need to clean their faces after a messy meal of spaghetti. On the Lullaby Lake, they see the sky reflected in the water as they travel to the Bay of Books.
MeMo has made a daisy chain, and BaBa marvels at how the flowers are connected. At the Play Tree, they connect little cars together. Meanwhile, at Yummy Time, they discover their sandwiches are connected by melted cheese. MeMo and BaBa drift on the Lullaby Lake while holding hands, connected. Gramma Leeba explains there are many different connections on the wonderful Planet BeddyByes.
MeMo and BaBa are out of breath after running around. When they fly the GoGo Plane to the cold part of the sky, their breath turns cloudy. They breathe on a toy mirror and make foggy breath. With the Yummies, they discover 'whistley' breath and blowy breath, which are useful for cooling down soup. MeMo and BaBa have gentle, snoring breaths when they drift off to sleep.
MeMo and BaBa find a stripy sock and pretend it’s a caterpillar. On the Play Tree, they play with puppets and stage a show. When MeMo and BaBa are 'yummy-sized', the Yummies find another way to put on a show with the puppets. There is time for a final sleepy show on the Lullaby Lake before heading to Gramma Leeba and the Bay of Books.
MeMo and BaBa think they’ve found a butterfly but are surprised to learn that it’s a moth - it sleeps during the day and comes out to play at night. At Play Time, they shine a toy torch into dark places and accidentally disturb the moth. It follows them to Yummy Land, where the Yummies help the friends learn more about nocturnal life, gifting them a moon flower that only opens at night.
MeMo uses a GoGo Brick to help BaBa see a caterpillar. At Play Time, BaBa uses a GoGo Brick to place the last piece on top of a tower. At Yummy Time, MeMo and BaBa help the Yummies pick a tomato, and on the Lullaby Lake, Fungi and Pungi help MeMo and BaBa travel to the Bay of Books in the GoGo Boat, where Gramma Leeba is waiting for them.
MeMo takes care not to overfill a cup with water and teaches BaBa how to take sips from a very full drink. On the Play Tree, they fill containers with sand to make sandcastles. With the Yummies, they enjoy a delicious potato dish, which is very filling. As they sail on the Lullaby Lake, Elewhale fills the sky with twinkling stars. Gramma Leeba tells the friends about their very full day.
MeMo and BaBa have fun pretending to be different animals and making animal noises. At the Play Tree, they play with Purple Ducky and love making it squeak. When the squeak breaks, MeMo wants to find another toy to play with, but BaBa shows MeMo that they can still play with Purple Ducky. They take it to see the Yummies and their friends on the Lullaby Lake.
MeMo and BaBa show Gramma Leeba a photo of themselves and match the pose. On the way to the Play Tree, they spot shapes in the clouds. They choose a picture book to play with and match the shapes to each other and all their friends. The game is easy for MeMo, but BaBa needs a little more help. MeMo kindly helps BaBa to play the game until it’s time for BeddyByes.
MeMo and BaBa create a leaf picture, but the wind blows the leaves away. At Play Time, they decorate a pot - but it breaks when BaBa accidentally drops it. At Yummy Time, they decorate a special cookie and bring it with them across the Lullaby Lake. They have been trying to make a gift for Gramma Leeba, who reassures them that the best gift is made with love.
MeMo flies a paper plane and shows BaBa how to do it. At Play Time, the friends enjoy playing with a glider. The glider drifts down to Yummy Land, where MeMo and BaBa find the Yummies pretending to fly. They have never flown before and would like to try it. MeMo and BaBa take the Yummies on a trip into the sky in GoGo Balloon. On the Lullaby Lake, BaBa gives MeMo a picture to thank them.
MeMo and BaBa look after Baby Tweety and play hide-and-seek. Baby Tweety travels with MeMo and BaBa to Yummy Land. Baby Tweety wants to continue playing hide-and-seek, but MeMo and BaBa need to find a way to get her to eat. Purple Tweety returns to collect Baby Tweety, and MeMo and BaBa feel sleepy on Lullaby Lake. Looking after little ones can be tiring, MeMo and BaBa are ready for BeddyByes!
MeMo and BaBa are in a happy mood and want everyone else to feel happy too. BaBa waters a drooping flower and makes it happy again, while MeMo helps the Tweeties repair their nest. MeMo and BaBa give Red Yummy a gift to cheer them up. MeMo and BaBa are happy to see all their friends at Lullaby Lake. Gramma Leeba is happy to see MeMo and BaBa at Storytime.
