二十年前，赌界一场惊天对决中，赌神胡三城（胡枫饰）败给赌魔屠城（刘兆铭饰）。关键时刻，赌神的师弟向无名（谢贤饰）代替师兄出场，与屠城赌命，於绝境中反败为胜，屠城忿然自刎，无名成为新的赌神，却从此不知所终。三城的徒弟是旦哥（陈百祥饰）与十三妹（陈法蓉饰）目睹了这一切。
