Es ist das Jahr 1889; derzeit reist der Wanderzirkus Noah’s Ark durch England. In sämtlichen Ortschaften, in denen er gastiert, werden zahlreiche Kinder als vermisst gemeldet. Königin Victoria beauftragt den jungen Lord Ciel Phantomhive, den Vermisstenfällen auf den Grund zu gehen. Um der Wahrheit näherzukommen, tauchen Ciel und sein Butler Sebastian Michaelis selbst in die Zirkuswelt ein und werden Teil des geheimnisvollen Zirkus. Schnell merken sie, dass sie nicht die einzigen sind, die sich in die Reihen des Zirkus eingeschlichen haben, und auch, dass sie selbst nicht nur Jäger, sondern gleichzeitig auch Gejagte sind.

Full of wonder and excitement, the Noah's Arc Circus troupe has captured audiences with their dazzling performances. Yet these fantastic acts do not come without a price. Children have mysteriously gone missing around London, correlating to that of the group's movements. Unsettled by these kidnappings, Queen Victoria sends in her notorious guard dog, Ciel Phantomhive; and his ever-faithful demon butler, Sebastian Michaelis, on an undercover mission to find these missing children. Trying to balance their new circus acts with their covert investigation under the big top, however, proves to be quite a challenge. With the other performers growing suspicious and the threat of the circus' mysterious benefactor looming overhead, what the two discover will shake Ciel to his very core.

Situado na Inglaterra, em fins do Século XIX, o Noah's Ark Circus anima a cidade de Londres com sua grandeza e acrobacias espetaculares. A ressalva fica por conta de crianças que somem misteriosamente da cidade e de modo pertinente às ações da trupe. A rainha, por fim, envia seu cão-de-guarda, Ciel Phantomhive, em uma missão de investigação cujo objetivo é reaver os infantes desaparecidos. Ciel e seu mordomo demônio, Sebastian Michaelis, infiltram-se no circo, disfarçados de integrantes do mesmo, em via de estudar e desvendar os motivos ocultos circenses.
