In the premiere episode of CNTM, the 10 finalist are introduced to Canada. Jay Manuel guest stars as the first guest judge, where he will be presenting the first challenge to the girls. The initial happiness of the new move-in is beginning to wear off in the house. The traditional makeovers are given and some girls are less than pleased with the results. The girls have a photoshoot in a boxing ring and the fights are not only with boxing gloves on. The tension rises as the realization of the reality of the competition sets in and certain girls start to pick fights with each other.
After a lesson from runway coach Stacey McKenzie, the eight remaining contestants make their first public appearance, and one girl shows off more than the others. Also: Hollywood stylist Phillip Bloch shows up with a suprise.

The four remaining contestants participate in a retro '80s-style photo shoot. The girls are then sent on “go-sees,” where they aren't given much time to impress potential clients.

The modeling competition begins for a second season with a new host, Jay Manuel. Jay meets with the candidates and they are in for a BIG surprise. This week they get exposed by Celebrity Photographer Paul Alexander for their first photo shoot. Friends are made and rivals are formed.

The girls get surprised when Jay brings in an entourage of hockey players. The models visit MuchMusic where they get unveiled their musical challenge. Jealousness starts to surface amongst the candidates.
As the competition continues, the remaining 7 meet with Jeanne Beker for media training. From interviewee to interviewer, find out who could keep up an who was lacking. Also, a glamorous photo shoot and a suprise visit from the hockey team awaits the girls. Who will get eliminated next?
The girls hit the gym for an intense spin class with Stacey Mackenzie and trainer Chris. Later the girls have a one on one talk with Jay where he gives them all advice on what they each need to improve. Then it's back to Stacey who takes the girls to Flirty Girl Fitness where they take a pole-dancing class. Finally in the photo shoot the girls are set to tackle an editorial concept while jumping on a trampoline.
The remaining 5 girls are set about on go-sees each hoping to outshine the other. One girls becomes frustrated after being called 'average'. Another girls kicks herself for misunderstanding the rules. Then a photo shoot in the freezing cold with Nigel Barker pushes the girls to show sexy, strong confidence.
The models are instructed to pose as live mannequins and later do a cover try for fashion magazine. A challenge win brings a surprise visitor for one of the girls.
In the season finale, the final four girls do a covergirl photo shoot for 'Trublend Foundation' after which two girls are eliminated. The two finalists are left to stomp it out in a high fashion runway show. The Winner is announced.
After an overwhelming response from the cross-country audition tour, 20 finalists gathered in Toronto in hopes of becoming Canada’s Next Top Model. The girls arrived at Polson Pier and anxiously waited for the competition to begin. Host Jay Manuel arrived in a sleek black helicopter and informed the finalists he only had room for half of them and the other half would be going home right away. He called forward nine girls and said he was done. But much to everyone’s shock, he revealed the women he had picked were real models – and the other 11 were actually in the competition.
As week 1 of the competition came to an end, Jill tried to come to terms with being in the Bottom 2 during eliminations as the other girls adjusted to life in the house without Tiffany.
The girls had little time to reflect on what it was going to be like without Jill in the competition as a ‘Jay Mail’ informed them it was time to focus on making a big splash in modeling.
After eliminations, the girls returned home to find a note from Ebonie telling them to stop complaining because they were the luckiest girls in the world.
Tara’s elimination was an emotional one but the girls had to wipe their tears away and get ready to be thrust into the spotlight.
The girls returned home to find a letter from Rebeccah as a ‘Jay Mail’ arrived asking if they wanted to find out what it’s like on the top.
As the girls returned to the loft after eliminations, Nikita reflected on how much she would miss Heather and Meaghan said at least no one would get them confused anymore. Linsay said for the first time she felt like she could win this, while the girls expressed their surprise that Maryam was still in the competition.
Over the past seven weeks, the finalists have battled icy nerves, hot flashes and racing emotions. With eight girls down and three left, it all comes down to this. Will it be Nikita, Meaghan or Linsay? The final three battle it out for the big prize but only one can be Canada’s Next Top Model.
