Season 1

Fantaghirò is the youngest daughter of the king, born when the king desperately wanted a son. Unlike her sisters Catherine and Caroline, Fantaghirò refuses to behave like a proper princess and secretly trains as a warrior, mastering archery, swordplay, and horsemanship. In the forest, Fantaghirò encounters Prince Romualdo, heir to a rival kingdom, and the two are immediately drawn to one another, though Romualdo does not know her true identity. A prophecy declares that Fantaghirò must duel Romualdo to end the generations-long war between their kingdoms. Disguised as a man, Fantaghirò faces Romualdo in battle, but love triumphs over rivalry as Romualdo realizes the warrior is the mysterious woman he saw in the forest. Their romance bridges the divide between the two kingdoms, bringing peace and unity. The miniseries blends fantasy, romance, and courage, concluding with Fantaghirò embracing both her warrior spirit and her destiny as a princess, setting the stage for future adventures.
