Tomoya tells Ushio of the past events that happened from when he first met Nagisa, until after Ushio is born and Nagisa survives. When Ushio falls asleep during the story, he begins to quite clearly recall a more tragic set of circumstances. At the end of this retelling, Tomoya, with Ushio and Fuko who are both asleep, are shown under a tree at the present time having a picnic. Ushio wakes up, just before Nagisa calls the three of them, saying that it is time to head home.
Tomoya le cuenta a Ushio todos los acontecimientos que sucedieron desde que conoció a Nagisa, hasta después de que Ushio nazca y Nagisa sobrevive. Cuando Ushio se queda dormida durante la historia, Tomoya revela recordar con claridad las trágicas circunstancias ocurridas en el futuro alterno. Al final de estos recuerdos, Tomoya empieza a despertar a Ushio y Fuko, que se habían quedado dormidas bajo el árbol en donde estaban teniendo un picnic. Ushio despierta, justo antes de que se escuche la voz de Nagisa llamándolos para volver a casa.

Tomoya racconta a Ushio tutta la sua storia e riassume gli eventi di entrambe le stagioni dell'anime. Nella scena finale Tomoya trova Ushio e Fuko dormire sotto un albero del parco del nuovo ospedale e, mentre le sta svegliando, sopraggiunge anche Nagisa.
Tomoya raconte à Ushio tous les événements qui ont précédé sa naissance, de sa rencontre avec sa maman à ses premiers pas dans le monde adulte.
