アジマは「ダークマシン」によってゴールデンバレーを実質的支配する存在となっていた。主人公のカイリは、亡き祖父の遺言「千鬼を探せ」を胸にゴールデンバレーを訪れたところ、偶然アジマ配下の「阿流堕美瑠」に追われる少女「ルドラ」と出会う。
ルドラに巻き込まれる形で「ダークマシン」プレイヤーとなったカイリは、度重なる激戦の末、徐々にその才能を開花させていく。
