House Auction

In Lancashire Danny Sebastian has been trading for ten years. His buying has been outstripping his selling for a long time, and his late mum's house - which serves as his warehouse - in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, is now bursting at the seams. Danny's come up with a radical plan for turning the lot into ready cash: a house auction. Having spent his life around auctions he fancies himself as an auctioneer, but can he turn the auction fantasy into a profitable reality? Six years ago meningitis left Toni isolated and disabled. She became a trader specialising in watches and jewellery and fought her way back to become one of the biggest players at her South London auction house. Now she wants to expand and is training up an apprentice. When the pair spot a Rolex watch it could be the crock of gold that will transform their future. Most dealers turn to trading to make ready cash, but not all. In the Yorkshire dales Vicky lives comfortably in a beautifully-refurbished farm house with husband Roy. She's been a stay-at-home housewife for twenty years. Now, with itchy feet and children flying the nest, she's desperate for a new life as a proper trader, turning her insatiable appetite for a bargain into a real job. She's searching for a profitable outlet for the ever-growing mountain of stock that's taken over her garage. Normal jobs don't work for Alan, so for the last ten years he's made a living as a dealer. Alan has a unique way of working. Most traders research their buys, but Alan doesn't like to, he trusts the alarm bell that goes off in his head when he sees the object he will bid on. Will his latest throws of the dice - an old violin and a collection of Laurel and Hardy statues - pay off?
