光彦、歩美、元太は向かいのビルの屋上にオバケを目撃！偶然出会った間宮まみから「お手伝い先でオバケを見た」という話を聞き、真相を確かめるため、目撃現場であるまみのお手伝い先・金澤もと子の家を訪れていたのだ。まみ曰く、オバケは毎週決まった曜日に現れ、オバケが出るようになってから無言電話もかかってくるようになったらしい。さらに探偵団が帰宅しようとした矢先、もと子の家の玄関前に無数の足跡が広がっていて……
