Deutsche Literatur seit 1945 is a six-part ZDF/3sat documentary history made in 1993, written/presented by Frankfurt Germanist Volker Bohn and directed by Helmut Greulich. Rather than functioning as a filmed literary-history textbook, it builds its account primarily from historical television, film, and sound recordings: writers speaking, readings, interviews, literary controversies, television coverage, and contemporary political events.
