Docent Stehlík se téměř administrativním omylem dostává z policejní akademie na oddělení vražd. Padne do týmu hned poté, co kriminalisté začínají vyšetřovat brutální vraždu mladé dívky v lese u Prahy. Snaží se být užitečný jako specialista na psychologické profilování vrahů, ale na oddělení ho mají všichni za blázna, a tak ho neúprosný šéf tvrďák Šera posadí do kanceláře s extrémně problematickou Fousovou. Věří, že si navzájem znechutí práci natolik, že z oddělení odejdou. Netuší, že stejně jako jeho áčkový tým přezdívaný Dvojčata budou nakonec tito dva notoričtí potížisté velmi cenní nejen v kanceláři, ale i v terénu. A možná že nejen u jedné vraždy.
Due to what was almost an administrative error, Associate Professor Stehlík finds himself transferred from the police academy to the homicide division. He joins the team just as the detectives begin investigating the brutal murder of a young girl in a forest near Prague. He tries to be useful as a specialist in psychological profiling of murderers, but everyone on the unit thinks he’s crazy, so his relentless, tough-as-nails boss, Šera, assigns him to an office with the extremely problematic Fousová. He believes they’ll make each other’s work so miserable that they’ll both leave the unit. He has no idea that, just like his A-team nicknamed “The Twins,” these two notorious troublemakers will ultimately prove invaluable not only in the office but also in the field. And perhaps not just in the case of a single murder.
