To save himself and companion from mercury vapors generated by the Tardis's defense mechanisms, The Doctor disengages the time vector generator, converting its insides back into a simple phonebox. The Doctor and Jamie are chased around a derelict spaceship by a servo bot while searching for a source of mercury to bring the Tardis back online.
