Don Matteo is the new religion teacher at the Gubbio High School. On his very first day he finds himself dealing with the boisterous boys in their senior year, and, in particular, Daniele, the prime suspect for a recent assault on an Italian teacher.
Meanwhile, the long-awaited boxing tournament between the Carabinieri in Gubbio and the Carabinieri in Perugia is approaching.

Don Matteo è il nuovo insegnate di religione del Liceo Scientifico di Gubbio. Nel suo primo giorno si troverà ad affrontare i “turbolenti” ragazzi della V B ed in particolare Daniele, principale indiziato per la recente aggressione alla prof. d’italiano.
Intanto si avvicina l’attesissimo incontro di boxe tra la caserma di Gubbio e quella di Perugia. Il campione eugubino è fuori gioco a causa di un infortunio, ma il maresciallo Cecchini ha già in mente un degno sostituto.
