At Electra-base, Frank is completing work on his newest Electra-comp attachment : the Electra-split. Just then, the Empress of Evil breaks through on the Crime-scope screen. There is an electrical storm, and a moment later the Empress of Evil appears before Frank! He runs his hands right through her, as if she's a hologram, though she boasts he will find no hidden projectors. The Empress vanishes, and Frank summons our superheroines to Electra-base. Electra Woman tries her new Electra-split on a one-quart glass bottle-- it is split into two identical bottles! However, Frank cautions: ""The effect of the Electra-split beam is to leave both objects in an unstable condition."" Frank picks up one bottle, and easily shatters it by clenching his fingers. Frank also points out that the Electra-split doesn't work on humans-- noting that could be a safety factor.
