This series stars Hector Elizondo (Bean), a conservative family man, and Tom Mason (Freebie) (a “swinging bachelor”), as two street-wise San Francisco police sergeants whose differing life styles are a constant source of put-down humor between them, bantering that covers their genuine mutual affection and respect.
