Nozomu comes back to the town he grew up before his mother died. He sees a pair of twin girls whom he thinks is his old childhood friends, the Ichijō twins. He realises they are not his old friends after following them but when he tries to help them after they unknowingly lose their purse in a convenience store, he is accused of being a thief. After he leaves it turns out that he was wrongly accused. He meets his carer, Miyabi, and the Hinagiku twins with whom he will be living, along with their pet goat Billy. He finally meets the real Ichijō twins who call at the house. Later when he starts school as a transfer student, he meets the twins he met in the convenience store who are also transfer students. They introduce themselves as the Sakuratsuki twins. He also meets Ai, his teacher, and Keisuke, another old childhood friend.
二見望は中学３年生。幼い頃に母親を亡くし、 父親とふたりで暮らしていた。ところがある日、 父親の仕事の都合で親戚の雛菊家に預けられることになる。
雛菊家のある街は彼が幼稚園時代まで過ごした思い出の街。久々に訪れた故郷に懐かしさを感じながら望は雛菊家へと向かう。コンビニの前を通りかかったとき、ガラス越しに双子の姉妹が見えた。幼い頃によく遊んだ幼なじみの双子・一条姉妹の薫子＆菫子との感動の再会に淡い期待をよせる望は、もしかしたらそこにいる双子は一条姉妹かもしれないと思い店内へ。だがそこにいたのは双子のお嬢様・桜月姉妹のキラ＆ユラだった。桜月家の試練によりコンビニ初体験中の桜月姉妹は、自分たちのことをじっと見つめる望をヘンな人と勘違いしてしまう。その後、無事雛菊家に到着した望は、雛菊家の娘である双子の姉妹・るる＆ららや、望が来ることを聞いて駆け付けた一条姉妹らから歓迎を受ける。
翌日、望は転校先の学校へ。職員室で担任の紹介を受けていると、そこへもう“一組”の転校生がやってきた。現れたのはコンビニで出会った桜月姉妹！ 驚きの再会に望は動揺を隠せずにいた。
Nozomu regresa a la ciudad en la que creció antes de que su madre muriera. Ve a un par de gemelas que cree que son sus viejas amigas de la infancia, las gemelas Ichijō. Se da cuenta de que no son sus viejos amigos después de seguirlos, pero cuando intenta ayudarlos después de que, sin saberlo, pierden su bolso en una tienda de conveniencia, se le acusa de ser un ladrón. Después de que se va resulta que fue acusado erróneamente. Conoce a su cuidador, Miyabi, y a los gemelos Hinagiku con los que vivirá, junto con su mascota, la cabra Billy. Finalmente se encuentra con los verdaderos gemelos Ichijō que llaman a la casa. Más tarde, cuando comienza la escuela como estudiante transferido, se encuentra con los gemelos que conoció en la tienda de conveniencia y también son estudiantes transferidos. Se presentan como los gemelos Sakuratsuki. También se encuentra con Ai, su maestra, y Keisuke, otro viejo amigo de la infancia.
Nozomu ritorna nella città dove aveva vissuto da piccolo, scoprendo che la madre è morta. Nozomu incontra Kira e Yura in un supermercato, ma viene confuso per una persona pericolosa quando cerca di restituirgli il portafogli caduto.
